Shortcut to my AT photos 2007
Hi there! My name is Daniel Staniforth, and this is my little website. In February 2002 at the age of 18 I stood on top of Springer Mountain in Georgia, USA, and started walking. By August I was 19 years old and had walked over 2,200 miles to Mount Katahdin, Maine, along the Appalachian Trail, with my food and clothes in a backpack and sleeping in the woods in a tent or wooden shelter each night.
This site is intended to catalogue this hiking experience with photos, as well as pictures from other hikes I have been on in the Peak District National Park here in England.
